Racks and Cable Management
Floor cabinets, open frame racks, wall mount enclosures, vertical and horizontal managers and ladder tray laid out so the room stays clean a year from now.
LED Indy builds server rooms and network closets for Indianapolis businesses, from the rack and cabling to the dedicated power, cooling coordination and grounding. Built to be added to later.
Racks and Cabinets
Floor and wall racks, cabinets and ladder tray
Dedicated Power
Isolated circuits, UPS feeds and clean panel layout
Patch Panels
Copper and fiber panels terminated, tested and labeled
Grounding and Bonding
Ground bar, bonding and surge protection done right
Cooling and Airflow
Hot and cold aisle layout coordinated with HVAC
A good IT room is boring, everything labeled, everything reachable, and enough power and space to add the next switch.
Racks and Cable Management
Floor cabinets, open frame racks, wall mount enclosures, vertical and horizontal managers and ladder tray laid out so the room stays clean a year from now.
Dedicated Power and UPS
Isolated circuits sized to your load, receptacles at the rack, UPS and generator feeds where you have them, and a panel schedule that actually matches the room.
Copper and Fiber Termination
Patch panels, cassettes and trunks terminated and tested, with port numbering that matches the wall plates so a tech can trace a drop without guessing.
Grounding and Surge
Telecommunications ground bar, rack bonding and surge protection installed to code, because a properly grounded room is what keeps a storm from taking out your switches.
Cooling, Access and Monitoring
We coordinate the HVAC drop, the door hardware and card reader, and the power and cabling for environmental sensors so the room is controlled and secured.
Cleanups and Migrations
We rebuild messy closets in place, cutting over drop by drop after hours so the network stays up while the rat nest turns into a labeled patch field.

Every building with a network has a room where it all lands, and we build and clean up those rooms across Indianapolis.

Low voltage is one of our 3 divisions, not a sideline. We scope server room installation against how the space is actually used, then label, test and document every run so the next person to open the rack is not guessing.
Power and Data Together
The circuits, the rack and the cabling come from the same contractor, so nobody is waiting on another trade.
Labeled and Documented
Every port, panel and circuit is labeled and drawn, so your next hire can support the room without a tour.
Cutovers After Hours
We do migrations and closet rebuilds nights and weekends so the network is up when your people log in.
Local and Licensed
Indianapolis owned and operated, licensed and insured, with completed work at Langham Logistics, NIFS and the Colts Practice Facility.
Proven on Commercial Projects
Our completed work includes the Colts Practice Facility, Langham Logistics, NIFS and the Vigo County jail. The same crews handle server room installation for buildings across Indianapolis.
Indianapolis Owned and Operated
We are based here, not dispatched in from out of state. The same licensed crew that walks your building with you is the crew that does the server room installation work.
From sports facilities and warehouses to aquatic centers and retail floors, these are buildings we have already wired across central Indiana.

Straightforward answers about structured cabling and low voltage for your buildings and your team.
It comes down to the gear, not the square footage. We add up the nameplate load of the switches, servers, UPS and anything else that plugs in, then size dedicated circuits with room to grow instead of loading a shared panel. Most rooms need more than they were built with, because the equipment count went up and nobody added circuits.
Yes, and that is a lot of what we do. We can rebuild a closet in place, adding a rack, managers and patch panels, then cutting drops over in batches after hours so nothing goes down during the workday. You end up with a labeled patch field and a documented room without moving your equipment or replacing your cable.
We handle the electrical and low voltage side and coordinate the cooling with your mechanical contractor. That means we lay out the rack so airflow works, feed the power for a dedicated mini split or supplemental unit, and wire environmental sensors so you get an alert before the room cooks. If you do not have a mechanical contractor, we will work with one.
A single network closet is usually a short job once the material is on site. A full server room with new circuits, a UPS feed, racks, termination and testing takes longer, and the long pole is normally gear lead time and getting a window to cut over. We walk the space, confirm what exists and give you a schedule before anything is ordered.
Yes, and it usually makes the job go faster. We handle the power, pathway, rack, cabling and terminations, and your IT provider handles the switches, servers and configuration. We set the cutover window with them, hand over a labeled port map and as built records, and stay reachable while they bring the gear up so nothing waits on a missing circuit or drop.
Can't say enough good things about John and his LED Indy team. They take the time to educate their clients on the process and value of switching to LED fixtures. They are professional, honest and do great work! Highly recommend them!
Jon and the team at LED Indy were absolutely amazing! They handled every step of my industrial shop conversion quickly and professionally. It's also great to know I'm saving money on my energy bill too! I highly recommend them!
We have several manufacturing facilities that have a combination of manufacturing floor, warehouse, and office space, and LED Indy has been a great partner to help us plan and implement changes when needed. I'd highly recommend their team.
The transformation of the lighting upgrade was literally night and day. The result was better than we could have expected.
