Warehouses and Distribution
High bay buildings where old metal halide fixtures burn power all shift
We design commercial LED retrofits around the AES Indiana rebate program and handle the paperwork for you. Your facility gets better light, and the utility helps pay for it.
Rebate Paperwork Handled
We prepare, submit and track the application for you
Program Check First
We confirm eligibility before any fixture is ordered
Audit and Fixture Count
Every existing fixture logged so the numbers hold up
Qualifying Products
We spec fixtures that meet the program requirements
Turnkey Installation
One contractor from the audit to the final inspection
A rebate is only worth chasing if the retrofit itself is right, so we start with the light levels and the fixture count.
Lighting Audit
We walk the building and log every existing fixture, lamp type, wattage and operating schedule, because the rebate application and the payback both run off that count.
Photometric Layout
A light level plan for the new fixtures instead of a straight swap, so aisles, work cells and parking areas actually get the light they need.
Rebate Application
We prepare the AES Indiana lighting rebate paperwork, confirm which measures qualify, and submit and track it, so nothing gets denied on a technicality.
Fixture Selection
We spec fixtures that both meet the program requirements and fit the building, including high bays, linear troffers, wall packs, site lighting and refrigerated space.
Controls and Sensors
Occupancy sensors, daylight harvesting and scheduling that cut runtime further, and controls are often eligible measures alongside the fixtures themselves.
Installation and Disposal
Crews install around your schedule, recycle the old lamps and ballasts, and leave the documentation the utility and your finance team both need.
Rebate funded retrofits pay off fastest where the lights run long hours, which covers most of the commercial buildings in Indianapolis.

Lighting is the division this company was built on. We run the photometric layout for lighting rebate before anything is ordered, so you know the light levels and the payback in writing rather than after the install.
Photometric design
Precise layouts for optimal results.
Premium fixtures
Commercial grade products that perform.
Expert installation
One contract. Total accountability.

Lighting Is Our Division
Lighting is one of our 3 divisions, not a side offer, so the retrofit is designed by people who do it daily.

We Do the Paperwork
We prepare, submit and track the rebate application, so your team is not learning a utility program on the side.

Licensed Electricians
Licensed and insured electricians do the install, so circuits, controls and disconnects are handled correctly and the inspection passes.

Proven on Big Rooms
We have worked in large Indianapolis facilities including the Colts Practice Facility and Amaco Brent, so tall ceilings are familiar ground.

Indianapolis Owned and Operated
We are based here, not dispatched in from out of state. The same licensed crew that walks your building with you is the crew that does the lighting rebate work.

Written Scope, Written Number
We walk the building before we quote, then put the lighting rebate scope in writing line for line, so you can compare our number against anyone else's on the same work.
From sports facilities and warehouses to aquatic centers and retail floors, these are buildings we have already relit across central Indiana.
It is an incentive from your utility that offsets part of the cost of upgrading to qualifying efficient lighting. The program looks at what you are removing, what you are installing and how the fixtures qualify, and the application has to be handled correctly for the project to be approved. We confirm the current program requirements, prepare the paperwork and submit it on your behalf.
Commercial, industrial and institutional accounts on the utility are the usual candidates, and the details change with the program year. In practice, buildings with long operating hours and older fixtures such as metal halide high bays, T12 or T8 linear and HID site lighting are the strongest cases. We check your account type and the current program rules before we quote anything.
No. We handle the application as part of the project. That means the fixture audit, the qualifying product documentation, the forms, the submission and the follow up through approval and payment. You review and sign what the program requires from the account holder, and we do the rest so the retrofit and the paperwork move on the same schedule.
Yes, and that is how most of these run. We phase a commercial LED lighting retrofit by area, work off lifts between shifts or after hours in occupied spaces, and keep temporary light in place while a zone is down. In warehouses we move aisle by aisle with the floor supervisor, and in offices we take a floor at a time.
We walk the building and count what is actually there. That means fixture type and wattage, mounting height, how many hours each area runs, the condition of existing controls, and any areas where light levels are already wrong. From that we build a fixture by fixture scope, match products to the current rebate requirements, and send a written quote with the incentive shown separately.
Can't say enough good things about John and his LED Indy team. They take the time to educate their clients on the process and value of switching to LED fixtures. They are professional, honest and do great work! Highly recommend them!
Jon and the team at LED Indy were absolutely amazing! They handled every step of my industrial shop conversion quickly and professionally. It's also great to know I'm saving money on my energy bill too! I highly recommend them!
We have several manufacturing facilities that have a combination of manufacturing floor, warehouse, and office space, and LED Indy has been a great partner to help us plan and implement changes when needed. I'd highly recommend their team.
The transformation of the lighting upgrade was literally night and day. The result was better than we could have expected.
