Main switchboards, distribution panels and motor control centers installed, replaced or extended, with clear circuit directories your maintenance team can actually use.

New presses, CNC cells, compressors, ovens and conveyors get dedicated circuits, disconnects and controls wired to the manufacturer specification and inspected before startup.
Learn moreBus Duct and Conduit
Overhead bus duct, cable tray and rigid conduit runs routed around your process so future line changes do not mean tearing out distribution.
Learn morePower Quality and Grounding
Our three phase electrician crews trace voltage imbalance, nuisance tripping and grounding faults across Indianapolis plants, then correct the wiring that is shortening drive life.

Industrial electrician sits inside our electrical division, not beside it. The same licensed crew that walks your building is the crew that does the work, and lighting and low voltage are in house if the job turns out to touch them.
Commercial Only Focus
We only work on commercial and industrial buildings, so our crews show up knowing plant distribution and production gear.
Indianapolis Owned
We are Indianapolis owned and operated, licensed and insured, and our trucks are already in the corridor you work in.
3 Divisions, 1 Contractor
Lighting, electrical, and data and low voltage all come from one team, so nobody is pointing at another trade.
Work Around Production
We schedule shutdown work on nights, weekends and planned downtime so your line is not sitting idle for us.
Written Scope, Written Number
We walk the building before we quote, then put the industrial electrician scope in writing line for line, so you can compare our number against anyone else's on the same work.
Proven on Commercial Projects
Our completed work includes the Colts Practice Facility, Langham Logistics, NIFS and the Vigo County jail. The same crews handle industrial electrician for buildings across Indianapolis.
Our job is simple: deliver safe, reliable electrical systems so you can run your business.

Straight answers to the questions we hear most, so you can plan with confidence.
An industrial electrician works on the power system that runs production, not the finish wiring in an office. That means the utility service and main gear, feeders and switchgear, motor control centers, machine hookups, conduit and bus duct, grounding and emergency power. LED Indy covers all of it in Indianapolis, and we handle lighting, data and low voltage on the same job when you need it.
It depends on the distance from your service to the equipment, the amperage you need, and whether the existing gear has capacity left. A short feeder to one machine off an existing panel is a small job. A new service, transformer and switchgear for an expansion is a project. We walk the plant, read the nameplate loads, and price the actual scope.
Yes, and that is when most of our heavy gear work happens. Service cutovers, switchgear replacements and feeder reroutes get planned around your shutdown window so the line comes back up on schedule. We build the sequence in advance, stage material before the outage starts, and keep a crew on site until power is proven back.
Our completed work includes Langham Logistics, Amaco Brent, Awning Partners Manufacturing Group and Indy Urban Hardwood, along with the Colts Practice Facility and the Vigo County Aquatic Center. That mix is the point. We are comfortable in a live production plant, a distribution building and a large public facility, because the discipline is the same.
Yes. On a service increase we handle the utility application, the load information they ask for, and the scheduling for the meter and the cutover. We also pull the permit and meet the inspector, because the utility will not energize new gear until it passes. We start that paperwork early, since utility scheduling and switchgear lead times usually set the date, not the labor.
Can't say enough good things about John and his LED Indy team. They take the time to educate their clients on the process and value of switching to LED fixtures. They are professional, honest and do great work! Highly recommend them!
Jon and the team at LED Indy were absolutely amazing! They handled every step of my industrial shop conversion quickly and professionally. It's also great to know I'm saving money on my energy bill too! I highly recommend them!
We have several manufacturing facilities that have a combination of manufacturing floor, warehouse, and office space, and LED Indy has been a great partner to help us plan and implement changes when needed. I'd highly recommend their team.
The transformation of the lighting upgrade was literally night and day. The result was better than we could have expected.
