Coverage Design
We walk the site and map entrances, docks, registers, parking and blind corners, then pick camera types and lens ranges that cover each one properly.
LED Indy designs, cables and installs camera systems for Indianapolis businesses, then shows your team how to pull footage. We work for facility managers, property owners and operations leads.
Site Camera Layout
We walk the property and map the key coverage areas
IP and PoE Systems
Modern network cameras on structured cabling we install
Recording and Storage
On site recorders or cloud, sized to your retention
Remote Viewing
Live and recorded video where your platform supports it
Licensed and Insured
Indianapolis owned and operated, licensed and insured
Cameras are only useful when the coverage, the cabling and the recorder all match how your building actually operates.
Coverage Design
We walk the site and map entrances, docks, registers, parking and blind corners, then pick camera types and lens ranges that cover each one properly.
Structured Cabling
Our low voltage crews run and terminate the Cat6 that feeds every camera, so you are not stringing new cable the next time you add one.
Recorders and Retention
We size the recorder and storage to the retention you need, whether that is a couple of weeks for a shop or months for a distribution center.
Low Light and Outdoor
Yard, dock and parking cameras get the right housings, infrared and mounting, specified for usable low light and outdoor coverage at the distances and lighting your site actually has.
Access Control Integration
Cameras tie into door readers, intercoms and alarm systems so a badge event and the video of that door line up on one screen.
System Upgrades and Repair
Inherited an old analog system? We replace failed cameras, upgrade recorders and reuse the runs that are still good instead of starting from zero.

The right system looks different in a warehouse than it does in a clinic or on a school campus, so we design around what you are protecting. We tailor the same approach to preschool, K to 12 and higher ed sites.

Low voltage is one of our 3 divisions, not a sideline. We scope security camera installation against how the space is actually used, then label, test and document every run so the next person to open the rack is not guessing.
Electricians and Low Voltage
The same company that runs your power runs your camera cable, so nothing gets blamed on the other trade.
Commercial Only
We install for businesses, warehouses and property managers, so the systems are sized for real sites, not a single doorbell.
Indianapolis Owned
We are Indianapolis owned and operated, licensed and insured, and we come back when a camera needs attention.
Trained on Handoff
Before we leave, your team knows how to review footage, export a clip and give it to an investigator.
Written Scope, Written Number
We walk the building before we quote, then put the security camera installation scope in writing line for line, so you can compare our number against anyone else's on the same work.
We Work Around Your Building
Nights, weekends, shutdowns and school breaks. We agree the access and outage windows with you before the security camera installation work starts, so your tenants and your production schedule are not the ones absorbing it.
From sports facilities and warehouses to aquatic centers and retail floors, these are buildings we have already wired across central Indiana.

Straightforward answers about structured cabling and low voltage for your buildings and your team.
Camera count, cable runs and storage drive almost all of it. A handful of cameras on an existing network in one suite is a small job. A warehouse with long conduit runs, outdoor housings and months of retention is a bigger one. We walk the property, agree on the coverage you actually need, and quote the design.
In general, video recording is allowed on your own commercial property in areas where people do not have a reasonable expectation of privacy, which is why cameras belong at entrances, docks and sales floors and not in restrooms or locker rooms. Audio capture is treated differently from video. We design to those boundaries and recommend you confirm your specific policy with your attorney.
That is a business decision, and it sets your storage budget. Insurance requirements, claim timelines and how long it takes your team to notice a loss all push retention up or down. We size the recorder and drives for the window you pick, and leave headroom so adding cameras later does not quietly shorten how far back you can look.
A small system in a building with usable cabling can go in inside a day. Larger sites take longer because the cable runs, conduit and mounting are the real work, not the cameras. We stage it so your operation keeps running, pull cable off hours where it crosses production or sales areas, and commission the system before we hand it over.
Yes, on the platforms that support it. Live views and recorded footage can be made available from a workstation on your network and from phones or tablets, subject to your network and your IT policy, and we set up accounts so each person sees only the cameras their role needs. Before we leave, we walk your team through finding an incident by time and camera, exporting the clip, and saving it in a format police or your insurer will accept.
Can't say enough good things about John and his LED Indy team. They take the time to educate their clients on the process and value of switching to LED fixtures. They are professional, honest and do great work! Highly recommend them!
Jon and the team at LED Indy were absolutely amazing! They handled every step of my industrial shop conversion quickly and professionally. It's also great to know I'm saving money on my energy bill too! I highly recommend them!
We have several manufacturing facilities that have a combination of manufacturing floor, warehouse, and office space, and LED Indy has been a great partner to help us plan and implement changes when needed. I'd highly recommend their team.
