Load Study and Sizing
We measure existing demand, add planned equipment, and size the panel or service so you are not back here in 2 years.
Learn moreMain Service Upgrades
An electrical service upgrade in Indianapolis often means new conductors, a new meter base and a larger main disconnect, not just a bigger panel.
Learn morePanelboard Replacement
We swap failed or obsolete panelboards, rebuild the circuit directory, and label every breaker so your maintenance team can work the board safely.
Learn moreSwitchgear and Distribution
Distribution sections, transformers, disconnects and feeders get replaced or extended so the added capacity actually reaches the equipment that needs it.
Learn morePermits and Inspection
We pull the permit, meet the inspector, and hand you the signed paperwork so the upgrade is documented for insurers and future buyers.
Learn morePhased Cutover Plans
For buildings that cannot go dark, we stage temporary feeds and move circuits in groups so operations keep running through the swap.

Panel and service capacity becomes the bottleneck the moment a building adds equipment, tenants, chargers or a new production line.

Panel upgrade sits inside our electrical division, not beside it. The same licensed crew that walks your building is the crew that does the work, and lighting and low voltage are in house if the job turns out to touch them.
Commercial Only
We work commercial and industrial buildings only, so the crew on your panel does this exact work every day.
Indianapolis Owned
Indianapolis owned and operated, licensed and insured, with crews based in the metro rather than dispatched from another state.
3 Divisions In House
Lighting, Electrical, and Data and Low Voltage under a single contractor, so panel work, feeders and IT rooms stay coordinated.
Work Around Operations
We schedule shutdowns for nights, weekends and plant breaks, and we tell you exactly how long power will be down.
Written Scope, Written Number
We walk the building before we quote, then put the panel upgrade scope in writing line for line, so you can compare our number against anyone else's on the same work.
Proven on Commercial Projects
Our completed work includes the Colts Practice Facility, Langham Logistics, NIFS and the Vigo County jail. The same crews handle panel upgrade for buildings across Indianapolis.
Our job is simple: deliver safe, reliable electrical systems so you can run your business.

Straight answers to the questions we hear most, so you can plan with confidence.
There is no flat rate, because the cost is driven by the size of the new service, the condition of the existing gear, and how much of the building has to stay live during the swap. Conductor runs, a new meter base, utility coordination and after hours labor all move the number. We walk the building, run the load calculation, and quote the whole scope in writing.
Going from 100 amp to 200 amp service is rarely just a panel swap on a commercial building. The service conductors, meter base, main disconnect and grounding usually all have to be upsized, and the utility has to release the new service. On some sites the existing conduit can be reused, which lowers the cost. We confirm that on the site visit before quoting.
The outage window matters more than the total project length. Most of the work, rough in, new conduit, feeder pulls and setting the new gear, happens with the building energized. The actual cutover is the only part that needs power down, and we schedule it for a night, a weekend or a planned shutdown. You get that window in writing before we start.
Yes. A commercial panel upgrade in Indianapolis is permitted work, and the new service has to be inspected before the utility will energize it. We pull the permit, submit the load calculation and riser diagram where required, and meet the inspector on site. You receive the closed permit and updated panel schedules when the job is finished.
Usually the panel tells you. The common signs are no spare breaker spaces left, breakers tripping under normal load, obsolete gear where replacement breakers are hard to source, heat or discoloration at the bus and lugs, and a load calculation with no headroom for equipment you plan to add. We run the numbers first, because sometimes a subpanel or a feeder change solves it for less.
Can't say enough good things about John and his LED Indy team. They take the time to educate their clients on the process and value of switching to LED fixtures. They are professional, honest and do great work! Highly recommend them!
