Total and Partial Outages
We start at the service and work in, checking utility feed, main gear, feeders and branch circuits until the fault is found instead of swapping parts.
Learn moreBurning Smell or Heat
A hot panel, a scorched breaker or a burning smell is a shutdown call. We isolate it, make the space safe, then repair or replace the failed equipment.
Learn moreBreaker and Panel Failures
Breakers that will not hold, failed main lugs, damaged bus and obsolete panels replaced with gear that is still supported and still available.
Learn moreWater and Storm Damage
Flooded electrical rooms, wet panels, storm damaged services and lightning hits. We de energize, document for your insurer and rebuild what has to be replaced.
Learn moreLighting and Egress Failures
Dark parking lots, failed exit and emergency lighting, and lighting controls stuck off. These are life safety items and we treat them as urgent.
Learn moreTemporary Power
When the repair needs parts, we can get you running on temporary feeds, generator connections or rerouted circuits so the building keeps working meanwhile.

An outage costs a warehouse and a medical office very different things, and we work the call accordingly.

Emergency commercial electrician sits inside our electrical division, not beside it. The same licensed crew that walks your building is the crew that does the work, and lighting and low voltage are in house if the job turns out to touch them.
Commercial Only
We are not a house wiring shop taking a commercial call. 3 phase gear, switchgear and distribution work is the daily job.
Indianapolis Based
Indianapolis owned and operated. Our trucks are already in the metro, not driving in from another market when you call.
Licensed and Insured
Licensed and insured, with the documentation your insurer, landlord or corporate office will ask for after the repair.
Fix, Then Prevent
We clear the emergency, then tell you what caused it so the same panel is not the reason for the next call.
We Work Around Your Building
Nights, weekends, shutdowns and school breaks. We agree the access and outage windows with you before the emergency commercial electrician work starts, so your tenants and your production schedule are not the ones absorbing it.

Straight answers to the questions we hear most, so you can plan with confidence.
Anything that threatens people, the building, or your ability to operate. Burning smells, smoke, sparking or hot panels, water in an electrical room, a downed or damaged service, failed exit and emergency lighting, and outages that stop production or spoil product all qualify. If you are asking yourself whether it counts, shut the affected gear down and call us.
An emergency electrician is a licensed electrician who takes unscheduled calls and works outside normal hours. For commercial buildings that means someone who can work around live gear safely, read the distribution in an unfamiliar building, and carry the parts to make a repair on the same visit. A shop that mostly wires houses usually cannot do that on 3 phase equipment.
Yes. Indiana does not issue a single statewide electrician license, so licensing is handled by cities and counties, and a contractor licensed in Indianapolis is not automatically licensed in the next town over. LED Indy is licensed and insured for commercial work in the Indianapolis metro and pulls permits under our own license. Ask any contractor for proof before they touch your gear.
Yes. Emergency work does not keep business hours, so we take after hours, weekend and holiday calls across the Indianapolis metro. Call 317-759-4533 and tell us the building type, what failed, and whether anything is smoking, hot or wet. That tells us what to load on the truck before we roll, which usually saves a second trip.
Keep people away from the affected gear and, if the disconnect is safe to reach, shut off the equipment or circuit feeding the problem. Do not reset a breaker that tripped alongside a burning smell, heat or sparking. If there is water in an electrical room, stay out of it. Note what was running when it failed and any recent work in the building, then call 317-759-4533.
