Retail electrical contractor sits inside our electrical division, not beside it. The same licensed crew that walks your building is the crew that does the work, and lighting and low voltage are in house if the job turns out to touch them.
On the Schedule
We show up for rough in when the walls are ready and for trim when the ceiling is closed, not 2 weeks later.
3 Divisions, 1 Call
Power, lighting and data come from the same contractor, so the sign circuit, the track lighting and the POS drops land together.
Licensed and Insured
Licensed and insured commercial electricians who pull the permit, build to code and stand in front of the inspector with you.
Local and Proven
Indianapolis owned and operated, with completed work at Sullivan Hardware, Indy Urban Hardwood and Awning Partners Manufacturing Group.
Written Scope, Written Number
We walk the building before we quote, then put the retail electrical contractor scope in writing line for line, so you can compare our number against anyone else's on the same work.
Indianapolis Owned and Operated
We are based here, not dispatched in from out of state. The same licensed crew that walks your building with you is the crew that does the retail electrical contractor work.
Our job is simple: deliver safe, reliable electrical systems so you can run your business.

Straight answers to the questions we hear most, so you can plan with confidence.
As soon as you have a floor plan and an equipment list. Early involvement is where the money is saved, because we can tell you if the existing panel carries the new load, whether the service needs to be upsized, and what the utility lead time looks like. Finding that out after the walls are up is what pushes an opening date.
Load, ceiling height, existing conditions and the fixture count. A suite with an adequate panel and open ceiling is straightforward. A space that needs a service upgrade, hard lid ceilings, kitchen equipment circuits or a new sign feed costs more because there is more material and more labor above the ceiling. We price from the drawings and the equipment schedule, not a guess.
Yes. We pull the electrical permit, build to the current code adopted by the jurisdiction, and coordinate the inspection with the building department and your general contractor. You get the permit paperwork and the inspection sign off as part of the job, not as an extra you have to chase. That matters when the certificate of occupancy is tied to your lease date.
Yes. Remodels in occupied stores are normal for us, and a lot of that work happens after close. We phase by department, keep temporary lighting and power live where you are still selling, and leave the floor clean and safe for open. Tell us your hours and we will build the schedule around them instead of the other way around.
Yes, and we ask for their cut sheets early. Sign companies, refrigeration installers, hood suppliers and POS integrators each need power in a specific place at a specific circuit size, and a lot of the delay on a store build-out comes from that information landing after the walls close. We collect the equipment schedule up front, rough in to it, and set connection dates with your general contractor.
Can't say enough good things about John and his LED Indy team. They take the time to educate their clients on the process and value of switching to LED fixtures. They are professional, honest and do great work! Highly recommend them!
Jon and the team at LED Indy were absolutely amazing! They handled every step of my industrial shop conversion quickly and professionally. It's also great to know I'm saving money on my energy bill too! I highly recommend them!
We have several manufacturing facilities that have a combination of manufacturing floor, warehouse, and office space, and LED Indy has been a great partner to help us plan and implement changes when needed. I'd highly recommend their team.
