Full Service Restaurants
Front of house lighting and power plus a back of house kitchen load
We wire restaurant build-outs and commercial kitchens across Indianapolis, from the panel to the hood. Owners, operators and general contractors get one licensed electrical crew start to finish.
Kitchen Equipment Wiring
Dedicated circuits for ovens, fryers, walk-ins and hoods
Panel Upgrades
Service and panel capacity sized for the full equipment list
Hood and Exhaust
Hood controls, makeup air and fan interlocks wired correctly
Dining Room Lighting
Dimming, track and decorative circuits set for the room
Inspection Ready
Permits pulled and work staged for health and electrical inspection
Restaurant electrical is equipment driven, so we start from your kitchen equipment schedule and work backward to the service, panels and circuits.
Equipment Circuits and Connections
Every fryer, range, oven, dishwasher, walk-in and prep station gets a properly sized circuit, disconnect and final connection per the manufacturer nameplate.

Restaurant electrician sits inside our electrical division, not beside it. The same licensed crew that walks your building is the crew that does the work, and lighting and low voltage are in house if the job turns out to touch them.
Built for Openings
Opening dates do not move, so we sequence rough in, trim and final connections against the equipment delivery and inspection dates.
1 Crew, 3 Divisions
Power, lighting and low voltage data all come from the same company, so nobody argues about who pulls which cable.
Code and Inspection
Licensed and insured, permits pulled, and the work staged so electrical and health inspections are not what holds up your opening.
Local and Available
Indianapolis owned and operated, so when a cooler circuit trips on a Friday night you are calling a crew that is already here.
Written Scope, Written Number
We walk the building before we quote, then put the restaurant electrician scope in writing line for line, so you can compare our number against anyone else's on the same work.
Proven on Commercial Projects
Our completed work includes the Colts Practice Facility, Langham Logistics, NIFS and the Vigo County jail. The same crews handle restaurant electrician for buildings across Indianapolis.
Our job is simple: deliver safe, reliable electrical systems so you can run your business.

Straight answers to the questions we hear most, so you can plan with confidence.
It tracks the equipment schedule more than the square footage. A kitchen with 20 pieces of gas equipment and a few dedicated circuits costs far less than an all electric kitchen that needs a service upgrade. Panel capacity, hood interlocks, trenching and finish lighting are the big swing items. Send us your equipment list and floor plan and we will price the real scope.
Only a load calculation answers that. We add up the nameplate ratings on every piece of equipment, the lighting and HVAC loads, and compare that to the existing service. Older buildings on Indianapolis commercial strips were often wired for retail, not for a commercial kitchen, so an upgrade is common. If the service holds, we tell you that and save you the money.
Electrical usually runs in 3 passes, so the schedule follows the general contractor rather than our crew size. Rough in happens once walls are framed, trim happens after finishes, and final connections happen when the equipment lands. The parts that stretch a schedule are utility work and switchgear lead times, which is why we flag those at the start.
Yes. For an operating restaurant we do most work after close or before service, and we stage material so the kitchen is clean and usable when your team walks in. Panel work and shutdowns get scheduled for your slowest window. If a circuit fails mid service, call 317-759-4533 and we will get you running again.
Yes, we pull the electrical permit and meet the inspector on site. The permit goes in under our license for the jurisdiction your address sits in, and we build the job to what that inspector checks, including hood interlocks, dedicated equipment circuits and GFCI protection in wet areas. We also schedule the electrical inspection early enough that it is not what delays your opening.
Can't say enough good things about John and his LED Indy team. They take the time to educate their clients on the process and value of switching to LED fixtures. They are professional, honest and do great work! Highly recommend them!

We have several manufacturing facilities that have a combination of manufacturing floor, warehouse, and office space, and LED Indy has been a great partner to help us plan and implement changes when needed. I'd highly recommend their team.
The transformation of the lighting upgrade was literally night and day. The result was better than we could have expected.
