Fiber Optic Installation in Indianapolis, Start to Finish

We handle the pathway, the pull, the splice and the test, then hand you the test results and as built drawings.

Building Backbone Fiber

Riser and plenum rated fiber connecting your MDF to every IDF closet, sized for the bandwidth you need now and the ports you will add later.

Building to Building Runs

Outside plant fiber between buildings on a campus or industrial site, direct bury, in conduit or aerial. The trenching and boring runs through local partners we have worked with for years, and they work as an extension of our crews.

Fusion Splicing and Termination

Field fusion splicing, pigtails, connectors and cassettes terminated into patch panels and enclosures so your network team plugs in and goes.

Testing and Documentation

OTDR traces, insertion loss and continuity testing on every strand, with the results documented per link so you have a baseline when something changes.

Fiber Repair and Restoration

A backhoe hit or a damaged riser gets located, spliced and retested. We run our own OTDR and optical loss test sets and multiple fusion splicers, so a restoration starts on our schedule instead of waiting on somebody else's equipment.

Pathway and Conduit

Innerduct, cable tray, J hooks, core drilling and firestopping installed by licensed electricians, so the fiber is protected and the penetrations pass inspection.

Indianapolis Buildings That Run on Fiber

Anywhere the copper runs out of distance or bandwidth, fiber takes over, and that covers most of the buildings we work in.

Low voltage. Done right.

Why Indianapolis Companies Trust Our Fiber Work

Low voltage is one of our 3 divisions, not a sideline. We scope fiber optic cabling against how the space is actually used, then label, test and document every run so the next person to open the rack is not guessing.

Tested and Documented

You get OTDR traces and loss results on every strand, plus labeling and as built drawings, not a verbal all good.

Licensed Electricians

The same licensed crew that pulls your fiber can install the conduit, the pathway and the power in the closet.

Indianapolis Based

Indianapolis owned and operated, so a cut fiber is a drive across town, not a dispatch from another state.

Built for Growth

We size strand count and pathway for what you will need later, so the next expansion is a patch, not a pull.

We Work Around Your Building

Nights, weekends, shutdowns and school breaks. We agree the access and outage windows with you before the fiber optic cabling work starts, so your tenants and your production schedule are not the ones absorbing it.

Proven on Commercial Projects

Our completed work includes the Colts Practice Facility, Langham Logistics, NIFS and the Vigo County jail. The same crews handle fiber optic cabling for buildings across Indianapolis.

Proven across central Indiana

Cabling and Low Voltage Work Across Indianapolis

From sports facilities and warehouses to aquatic centers and retail floors, these are buildings we have already wired across central Indiana.

Fiber Optic Cabling Questions from Indianapolis Facilities

Straightforward answers about structured cabling and low voltage for your buildings and your team.

Should we run single-mode or multimode fiber?

It depends on distance, bandwidth and what your equipment expects. Multimode is common and cost effective inside a building where runs are short. Single-mode is the answer for long campus runs, building to building links and anywhere you want headroom for future bandwidth. We look at the distances, the switches you own and the growth plan, then recommend the strand count and type.

How long does a fiber optic installation take?

A backbone run between closets in an existing building is often a day or 2. A campus run that needs trenching, boring or aerial work depends on the pathway, the locates and the weather. The parts that move the schedule are underground work and utility locates, not the splicing. We walk the route first and give you a date you can plan around.

Can you repair a cut or damaged fiber run?

Yes. We locate the break with an OTDR, expose the cable, splice in the repair and retest the link so you know it is back to spec. Damage from excavation, roof work, rodents or a pinched riser is common, and the fix is usually faster than replacing the run. Call 317-759-4533 and we will get someone moving.

Do you provide test results when the fiber is done?

Yes, on every job. You get OTDR traces and insertion loss results for each strand, the labeling scheme, and as built drawings showing where the fiber runs and what is terminated where. That record is what makes the next troubleshooting call take minutes instead of hours, and it is what your next contractor will need.

What drives the cost of a fiber optic installation?

The pathway drives it more than the fiber does. Strand count and cable type matter, but the number that moves a quote is whether a conduit, tray or riser already runs where the cable needs to go. Boring under a drive, trenching between buildings or coring floors costs far more than pulling through an existing pathway. Splice and termination counts and required testing finish the price.

Real results. Real relationships.
