Do I need a service upgrade to add EV chargers?
Often no, and that is the first thing we check. Many Indianapolis buildings have spare capacity sitting in the existing service, especially after an LED lighting retrofit frees up load. We run a load calculation against your panel schedule and utility demand data, then tell you the honest port count your service will carry. If an upgrade is needed, we handle the AES Indiana application.
How long does a commercial EV charger installation take?

Site assessment and design take a few days, the utility service application and city permit set the real calendar, and hardware lead times vary by model. Once the equipment is on site, a typical Level 2 bank goes in without closing the lot, and DC fast charging takes longer because of trenching and pad work. We give you a schedule up front.
Can you service chargers another contractor installed?
Yes. We take over stations installed by other contractors, including units that were never properly commissioned or handed off with no network access. Typical calls are offline ports, tripped breakers, damaged connectors, failed firmware updates and billing that was never configured. We are ChargePoint Certified, so on that hardware we can work the network side as well as the electrical side.
Do we choose the charging hardware, or do you?
You choose, and we narrow the field first. The right station depends on how many ports your service supports, whether you need access control and billing, how usage reports back to your team, and what parts and warranty support look like after the install. We are ChargePoint Certified and install other manufacturers as well, so the recommendation follows your building, not a brand quota.
