Greenwood businesses call us because 3 divisions sit under one contract. Lighting, electrical, and data and low voltage come from one licensed commercial contractor, and Greenwood is a short drive from our Indianapolis shop.

Right Next Door
Greenwood sits directly south of our Indianapolis base, so our crews are already working the south side and Johnson County.

One Contractor, 3 Trades
Lighting, electrical, and data and low voltage under one contract, so nothing falls in the gap between 2 vendors.

Licensed and Insured
We carry the licensing and insurance a commercial job requires, and we pull the permits and meet the inspector ourselves.

Work You Can Check
Our completed projects include the Colts Practice Facility, Sullivan Hardware, Langham Logistics and Indy Urban Hardwood. Ask and we will show you.

Indianapolis Owned and Operated
We are based here, not dispatched in from out of state. The same licensed crew that walks your building with you is the crew that does the commercial electrical work, and Greenwood is a short drive from our Indianapolis shop.

Written Scope, Written Number
We walk the building before we quote, then put the commercial electrical scope in writing line for line, so you can compare our number against anyone else's on the same work.
From sports facilities and warehouses to aquatic centers and retail floors, these are buildings we have already powered across central Indiana.

Yes. We cover Greenwood proper and the surrounding Johnson County business communities, including Bargersville, Whiteland, New Whiteland and Franklin, plus the corridor north into Marion County. Greenwood sits directly south of our Indianapolis base, so getting a crew there is routine rather than a special trip. Call 317-759-4533 with your address and we will confirm coverage on the spot.
Indiana does not issue a single statewide electrician license. Licensing is handled locally, so the requirements in Greenwood, Johnson County and Marion County are set by those jurisdictions and can differ from one another. What matters for your building is that the contractor holds the license the local authority requires and carries insurance for commercial work. LED Indy is licensed and insured, and we pull the permits under our own credentials.
Yes. A license is permission from a city or county to perform electrical work there. A certification is proof of training on a specific system or product, and it is issued by a manufacturer or an industry body rather than a government. Both matter. LED Indy is licensed and insured for commercial work, and our team holds ChargePoint Certified, EVITP and NABCEP certifications for EV charging and related systems.
Ask whether they do commercial work exclusively, who holds the license for your jurisdiction, whether they carry insurance at the limits your landlord or GC requires, and who pulls the permit. Then ask how they handle occupied buildings, what the schedule looks like if gear has a lead time, and what happens if the walls open up on something unexpected. Ask for buildings like yours that they have finished.
It starts with a walk of the building. We look at the panel, the ceiling, the existing gear and the space the work has to happen in, then send a written scope that lists the material, the labor and how the work is phased. Projects get a fixed number. Service calls run on time and material. If the scope changes once walls open, you approve it in writing first.
Can't say enough good things about John and his LED Indy team. They take the time to educate their clients on the process and value of switching to LED fixtures. They are professional, honest and do great work! Highly recommend them!
Jon and the team at LED Indy were absolutely amazing! They handled every step of my industrial shop conversion quickly and professionally. It's also great to know I'm saving money on my energy bill too! I highly recommend them!
We have several manufacturing facilities that have a combination of manufacturing floor, warehouse, and office space, and LED Indy has been a great partner to help us plan and implement changes when needed. I'd highly recommend their team.
The transformation of the lighting upgrade was literally night and day. The result was better than we could have expected.
